For 3 years we have been working with Everywoman Expo to create a feature wall at their annual Perth expo. It all started back in 2021, after a 2019 / 2020 false start due to COVID. We were approached by Everywoman Expo to create a feature wall to cover up a blank space in there Expo space and hoped it would provide a insta worthy photo opportunity for their attendees while at the expo.
This was our first design and although still pretty, we still had a bit to learn in regards to styling and setup, but the concept worked and Everywoman Expo found a influx of posts on socials in front of the wall from attendees to exhibitors.
The next year in 2022 we were asked to do again and this time we matched the colours a bit better and had learnt a few more styling tips so the wall stayed up nicely for the 3 days. It once again was a huge hit and shared among socials.
This year in 2023, we asked Everywoman Expo if we could have a bit more freedom with the styling and do something fun to encourage people to take a insta worthy photo and share it to socials, tagging in both @Shimmer_sequin_walls_Aust and @everywomanexpo. So with freedom granted, but limited space, we created this really fun swing setup and ran a competition to win $500 Visa Gift card for simply liking us and sharing your photo. This was the biggest success for Everywoman Expo and ourselves with over 30 new people joining both our Instagram page in 1 hour.
We have learnt that fun photo activation zones like this one really provide attendees with a fun social sharing opportunity and also add a eye catching display.
We thank Everywoman expo and can not wait till 2024 when hopefully we can change it up again......we have some fun things happening!
