WHAT ARE SHIMMERWALLS
A system of decorative panels with sequins that are on tiny hooks that hang freely so can be activated and shimmer when moved by air.
The basis of the click panel is made from a durable polymer material, with a lattice effect. There are mounting holes built into the panel for easy fixing to walls, and this panel is very flexible and light weight.
Unlike the click panels the solid panel are made from a thicker and heavier polymer material that is solid with moulding holes and built to withstand harsher environments such as indoor / outdoor use.
The sequins come in two shapes, circle or square and are made from a polymer material with a mirror coating. For outdoor use we also have UV resistant based sequins to ensure the lasting colour.

WHAT COLOURS
Shimmerwalls Australia offers a selection of more than 20 colours. You can see more about colours in the "Shop"
We can also apply any image you like on the sequins, how ever be warned, if you loose a sequin it cant just be replaced, we have to reprint the whole lot. Better buying block colour and creating a acrylic sign to hang in front
HOW TO I CALCULATE HOW MANY PANELS
our panels are 30cm x 30cm so work out your size ie 240cm x 240xm and then divide 240 / 30 = 8
8 x 8 = 64 panel
HOW TO INSTALL
Each Shimmerwall panel has a large number of mounting holes. These holes are arrange so if you nail or screw into place the sequins should cover it up the nail or screw.
The panel can also be fixed to surfaces with double sided adhesive tape, self tapping screws or nails.
Our click panels have along the edges coupling elements that allow you to simply click the panels together and form a rigid group of panels. These can then be attached to pipe and drape set simply with cable ties. This advantage is that they are very helpful when using for temporarily displays, events, ceremonies, decoration. for special actions or events, ceremonies, decoration of stages and shop windows.
CAN SHIMMERWALLS WITHSTAND HARSH WEATHER
Shimmerwall clear click panels can resist harsh weather conditions as strong winds, high temperatures. The sequins are however affected by UV Rays unless you get our UV treated ones. We however can only do certain colours and these need to be ordered in advance. The UV treatment will allow them to last longer outside, but eventually, most sequins outdoors will fade over time.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN INDOOR AND OUTDOOR PANELS
Nothing, the clear click panels can be used for indoor and outdoor use as well as the solid panels. The Solid panels are better for large-scale projects where you want something a bit more solid. But we use the clear click panels for most indoor and outdoor things. Please note anything outdoors should have UV protected sequins to help prevent fading. We have to create this on request
DO THE SEQUINS FALL OFF
Yes the do on occasion, but we supply you with extras and they are easy to replace.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO MANUFACTURE A PANEL
We fulfill orders in about 10 - 14 working days. Time for print panels and large jobs can take longer and would require a min of 4 weeks notice. All order deliveries are generally determined individually for each job.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY PANELS
Using a static brush. Those lovely microfibre static brushes work a treat to remove any unwanted dust.
For a tough clean it is ok to use a medium pressure hose with just water and a gentle sponge for those sticky bits. You will need to dry them so they don't leave dots. If you get dots, you need to use stainless steel cleaner, like Magic Stainless steel cleaner and pro

Our panels have been designed in Australia, but are made in China using high-quality material. Sequins are printed and cut in china and sent to us for assembly.
